Opened by Alan Grieve on 25 April 2009, the Jerwood School of Design, was funded with a £950,000 capital grant from Jerwood Foundation. The two-storey building which includes two multimedia workshops and two high tech studios with specialist facilities for CAD/CAM and electronics, provides outstanding facilities for the school's upandcoming designers and technologists, many of whom have won national awards.
