We are proud of our longstanding connection with the Jerwood Foundation. Old Oakhamian John Jerwood is Oakham School’s greatest benefactor; over the years, thousands of Oakhamians have benefited from his generosity and that of the Jerwood Foundation, through scholarships, bursaries and the facilities they use on a daily basis.

Following John Jerwood's death in 1991, Jerwood Foundation continued to support the development of Oakham School with funding for capital projects. Further enhancing the school campus and enriching the lives of its pupils, the Foundation donated two sculpture commissions by the sculptor Ben Carpenter, winner of the Jerwood Sculpture Prize in 2001: Pod in 2009 and Net Form 2 in 2017.
