Jerwood Foundation is delighted to announce a grant of £30,000 has been awarded to the Royal College of Music (RCM) to support the establishment of the Jerwood Visiting Artist Fund. This fund will provide invaluable learning experiences for Royal College of Music students by supporting a vibrant programme of masterclasses, engagement with visiting professors and a programme of concerts and collaborations with some of the world’s most inspiring musicians, to support the development of the next generation of musical talent.
The Royal College of Music’s purpose is to train gifted musicians for careers as performers, conductors, composers and educators. This fund will enhance the Royal College of Music’s commitment to excellence, access, and the development of the next generation of world-class musicians by creating a transformative experience for these students and audiences alike.
