Jerwood Foundation is delighted to be supporting Stuart Winter, and his company Tracing Movement, to enable the return of the Tracing Movement Reboot programme for freelance dancers. The programme, which will run in May 2021, will consist of a progressive series of free, COVID-safe, daily classes for professional dancers who are rebuilding their practice after the interruption of the pandemic. The first Reboot at Jerwood Space in October 2020 supported over 100 performers over a period of 3 weeks and Reboot 2, also supported by Jerwood Space, aims to expand the reach to over 200 dancers. Stuart will also be directing and choreographing a short film, employing some of the dancers from the programme. This gives artists the opportunity to continue to grow and develop creatively as well as physically, making a film that responds to the unique circumstances and challenges facing the performing arts sector at this time.
