Glyndebourne Pit Perfect Concerts & Orchestra Workshops

With the support of Jerwood Foundation, players from Glyndebourne's Pit Perfect development scheme will present an informal programme of instrumental music to audiences in Sussex, Canterbury, Milton Keynes, Norwich and Liverpool during the autumn season.

Recently graduated instrumentalists on Pit Perfect gain professional experience with the Glyndebourne Tour Orchestra, vital to their development. This scheme is unique in the UK in offering newly-graduated players paid opera orchestra experience over a three-month concentrated period during the autumn alongside mentoring, lessons, seminars and a series of concert performances.
