Oxford International Song Festival Announces Young Artists for 2026 Programme

Oxford International Song Festival has announced the next eight singers and pianists selected for the 2026 Oxford Song Young Artist Programme which is supported by Jerwood Foundation through the award of a grant of £30,000. The Programme provides vital professional development opportunities for singers specialising in song repertoire.

 

Following highly competitive auditions held in Oxford, the panel selected a group of outstanding emerging performers who will take part in the Festival’s renowned artist development scheme. The singers selected for the 2026 programme are:

  • Archie Inns (tenor), Alfred Fardell (piano)

  • Gabriella Noble (mezzo-soprano), Jasmin Allpress (piano)

  • Ellen Mawhinney (soprano) Daniel Silcoc (piano)

  • Klara Solén (mezzo-soprano) George Herbert (piano)

  • Luca Zucchi (baritone) Lilly Vadaneaux (piano)

  • Maryam Wocial (soprano), Archie Bonham (piano)

  • Natalka Pasicznyk (soprano),Bohdana Ravliuk (piano)

  • Rachel Munro (soprano), Jia Ning Ng (piano)

The standard of auditions this year was exceptionally high, and we are thrilled to welcome these eight outstanding young singers to the programme. Their musical imagination, commitment to the repertoire and expressive individuality promise an exciting future for the art of song.

Over the next 18 months these eight duos will receive training and performance opportunities from leading artists, coaches and répétiteurs, culminating in their final showcase recitals as part of the autumn 2027 during the Oxford International Song Festival.

 

Young Artists will perform before the evening concerts throughout this year’s 25th Anniversary festival before the Young Artist showcase recital taking place on the final day of the festival.
