Jazz re:freshed: RE:PRESENT

In a new partnership, announced on 31 March 2025, Jerwood Foundation has awarded Jazz re:freshed a grant of £15,000 to support RE:PRESENT.

RE:PRESENT provides transformational performance opportunities and creates career development and progression opportunities for talented, emerging UK jazz musicians through The Weekly Residency and annual JAZZ RE:FEST festival. The Weekly is a regular, welcoming, East-London residency for emerging UK jazz musicians. Through a welcoming space at 91 Living Room, musicians hone their art, express themselves and practice engaging with regular jazz audiences.

RE:FEST is an annual one-day showcase of emerging and established UK jazz talent, resident at the Southbank Centre. The festival has become a destination event in jazz and non-jazz music calendars alike, with a unique non-hierarchical programme which is free to attend for all public audiences.

Jerwood Foundation’s support will enable Jazz re:freshed to present 50 performance opportunities at The Weekly, and support seven jazz bands representing 35 musicians at RE:FEST.
