Jerwood Collection is delighted to loan fifteen works for Echoes, an exhibition at Arnolfini curated by Art In Motion (AIM). The selection includes works by Wilfred Avery, Frank Auerbach, Edward Bawden, Gerald Brockhurst RA, Robert Colquhoun, Eileen Cooper RA, Tracey Emin DBE RA, Lubaina Himid CBE RA, HaYoung Kim, Laurence Stephen Lowry RA, Alexander Mackenzie, Alan Reynolds, John Robertson, George Truefitt, and Alfred Wolmark.

The works span tranquil landscapes, colourful abstractions and expressive portraits, each chosen for the ways they resonate with AIM artists’ experiences and imaginations. Alongside the Jerwood Collection loans, the exhibition features ten new works by AIM artists, offering fresh responses that echo across times, places and media.

Echoes concludes a three-year collaboration between Arnolfini and Jerwood Collection, supported by Jerwood Foundation, celebrating art for enjoyment.
